Ryan Garbutt also tallied and Rich Peverley collected two assists as Dallas handed the Canucks their fourth straight defeat and 11th in 12 games (1-10-1).
Kari Lehtonen made 32 saves but cost himself a chance at a shutout by misplaying a puck that led to an easy tap-in for Vancouver's Zac Dalpe. Eddie Lack surrendered five goals on 17 shots before giving way to newcomer Jacob Markstrom for the Canucks, who were held to fewer than two goals for the seventh time in nine games.

Seguin converted a breakaway during a man advantage 5 1/2 minutes later before connecting on a turnaround shot from the right-wing boards with 8:01 left in the period.
Dallas continued the assault when Goligoski buried a one-timer from the right faceoff circle while on the power play 2:20 into the second period before setting up Garbutt's tally just under 10 minutes later. Lehtonen's misplay behind his own net with 1:45 left in the middle session led to Dalpe's goal and spoiled his shutout bid.
