LB Pat Angerer was signed by the Falcons Tuesday (July 22). Angerer, 6-0, 236 pounds, was originally selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the second round (63rd overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft. In four seasons with the Colts he played in 54 games with 39 starts while totaling 327 tackles (194 solo), 2.5 sacks, two interceptions, and eight passes defensed. Last season, Angerer played in 11 games with nine starts and posted 63 tackles (37 solo), with one half sack, two passes defensed and one interception. He became an unrestricted free agent in March and was not tendered on June 1.
WR Jeremy Ebert was signed by the Falcons Tuesday (July 22). Ebert, 5-11, 200 pounds, was originally selected by the New England Patriots in the seventh round (235th overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft. He spent time on the Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles practice squad during the 2012 season before being signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars on May 22, 2013. Ebert played in five games in 2013 and notched three receptions for 18 yards. He was waived by the Jaguars on May 13.
