LANZHOU, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- A landslide left ten people dead and 21 injured in northwest China's Gansu Province on Wednesday night, local authorities said on Thursday afternoon.
The landslide occurred around 8:30 p.m., burying workers' prefabricated houses in the city of Longnan, according to the provincial work safety authority.
The houses were in a residential area for workers digging a tunnel for the Lanzhou-Chongqing Railway.
