Indian stocks close higher
MUMBAI, June 27 (Xinhua) -- Indian stocks closed higher Friday led by shares of information technology and healthcare companies.
The BSE benchmark index Sensex closed at 25,099.92 points, 37. 25 points or 0.15 percent up from the previous close of 25,062.67 points.
There was healthy buying in healthcare, IT and technology, entertainment and media (TECK) sectors, while selling pressure was observed in metal, automobile and banking scrip.
