Israel hit by fresh rockets fired from Lebanon
BEIRUT, July 14 (Xinhua) -- Two 107 mm Katyusha missiles were fired from Lebanon at dawn Monday in a third incident of the kind in three days, a security source told Xinhua.
According to the source, the Israeli army retaliated by pounding the suburbs of the southern port city of Tyre with 155 mm artillery shells without causing any casualties.
The Lebanese army in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon intensified its patrols in the area in an effort to locate the exact site of the missiles launching.
On a related note, Speaker Nabih Berri condemned the missiles launching from south Lebanon and he was quoted by Assafir newspaper that these acts "would not help the resistance of the Palestinians in face of the Israeli enemy."
