WARSAW, July 15 (Xinhua) -- New Slovak President Andrej Kiska began his official one-day visit to Poland on Tuesday. He was greeted in Warsaw by Polish president Bronislaw Komorowski.
Poland is the second country visited by the Slovakian president after he was sworn in June. Kiska will also meet with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and the Speaker of Polish Senate Bogdan Borusewicz.
According to the local media, the key issues of the talks will concern strengthening both countries' alliance especially in the context of the Visegrad Group.
Slovakia took over the annual presidency over the Visegrad Group two weeks ago and countries representing it will meet during the summit held on July 22 in Warsaw.
