YEREVAN, Armenia, July 26 (Xinhua) -- European Archery Championship closed here on Saturday after Russia's Tatiana Segina won gold in the women's Olympic archery event.
Natalia Lesniak of Poland was second and Spain's Alicia Martin took home the bronze medal.
Gold, silver and bronze medals for the men's Olympic archery were shared accordingly by Florian Kahllund from Germany, Anton Prilepov from Belarus and Pierre Plihon of France.
In compound bow gold was won by Svetlana Cherkashneva of Russia, silver went to Laura Longo of Italy and Danish Sarah Holst Sonnichsen took the bronze.
Peter Elzinga of the Netherlands won the gold medal in compound bow, while Italy's Sergio Pagni took the silver and Sebastien Peineau of France came in third.
The tournament, which officially kicked off on Monday, had 300 athletes taking part.
