NANJING, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- At least 40 people died and more than 120 others were injured after a powerful blast ripped through a factory in Kunshan City of east China's Jiangsu Province on Saturday morning, government sources said.
The exact number of casualties is still being verified as rescue work and investigation are underway.
The blast happened at around 7:37 a.m. inside a wheel hub polishing workshop of a metal factory.
