WINDHOEK -- Passengers onboard Air Namibia flight SW722 from Johannesburg have been allowed to disembark at Windhoek's Hosea Kutako International Airport following an Ebola scare Friday morning.

ATHENS -- Greek government welcomed on Saturday the upgrade of Greece's sovereign credit rating by two notches as an acknowledgement of progress achieved towards economic recovery.

ATHENS -- A Greek warship carrying 187 people, including 79 Chinese nationals, from violence-wracked Libya reached the Greek port of Piraeus on Saturday.

JERUSALEM -- Israel will not attend the Gaza ceasefire talks in Cairo as planned, charging that "there's no point" in trying to achieve an agreement with the Hamas movement, Israel's Ha'aretz daily reported on Saturday.

KATHMANDU -- The death toll in Nepal's massive landslide has risen to eight, while over 300 people remain out of contact, almost 10 hours after the disaster happened, locals and police said.

"It has been confirmed that the death toll from the landslide has reached eight," Ram Nagarkoti, a villager who is offering assistance to the rescue operation, told Xinhua over phone. Police deployed at the incident site has also confirmed the figure. (Nepal-Landslide)

KABUL -- The auditing process of votes cast in Afghan presidential elections was once again postponed on Saturday, local media reported.
