SEOUL, March 25 (Yonhap) -- Robert Downey Jr., the hero of the "Iron Man" film series, is scheduled to visit South Korea in April to promote the latest edition of the Marvel Comics piece.
The Hollywood actor will arrive here on April 3 for an "Iron Man 3" press conference the following day, according to Sony Pictures Korea, the local distributor of the superhero film.
Downey Jr.'s visit, the first leg of his global promotion tour, comes in line with the world premier of the movie in South Korea scheduled for April 25, a week ahead of its U.S. release.
The first and second series of "Iron Man" each garnered 4.32 million and 4.5 million views locally.
