SEOUL, April 1 (Yonhap) -- South Korean rapper Psy will release his follow-up to his global hit "Gangnam Style" next week, his management firm said Monday.
The K-pop sensation will unveil his new song titled "Gentleman" online on April 12 and showcase it the following day during his Seoul concert, according to the YG Entertainment.
Psy wrote the song's lyrics and co-composed the music with Yoo Gun-hyung, a well-known South Korean producer and songwriter, it said. The two had worked together on "Gangnam Style."
"The new song Gentleman will have a fast tempo that will make people really excited," said an agency official.
"We are putting the last touches to the song," he said, adding that the dance will "be largely in a Korean style."
After its release, Psy plans to promote the new song with an international tour that will include stops in the United States in mid-April, Europe in May and Asia in June, the company said.
Psy became an international household name last year after Gangnam Style went on to become the most watched YouTube video, and the first one to recieve over a billion views.
