SEJONG, April 29 (Yonhap) -- South Korea plans to issue state bonds worth about 7.7 trillion won (US$7.47 billion) in May, the finance ministry said Tuesday.
According to the ministry, the government is seeking to sell 1.8 trillion won in three-year Treasurys, 2.05 trillion won in five-year debts and 2.05 trillion won worth of 10-year bonds in May.
It also plans to issue 900 billion won worth of bonds that mature in 20 years and 900 billion won in 30-year bonds.
The ministry said it sold about 8.5 trillion won worth of bonds in April.
