Olympic prep – Brazil still behind

The Rio de Janeiro tabloid O Dia said that Olympic security specialists in town from England last week criticized the federal government for not having yet created the agency that will help plan the games and for not having done enough to combat potential security threats, including terrorism. The Brits did praise the state of Rio de Janeiro for “more efficient” security planning. This week, it’s the United States’ turn: apparently the FBI will be in town to train Rio’s military police.
