American artists and architect Lebbeus Woods has vowed to not take on any projects in China until the Chinese government frees his fellow artist, Ai Weiwei, who has been missing since he was apparently grabbed by customs agents at the Beijing airport on Sunday morning.

In a blog post called "This cannot pass," Woods said that while he is already engaged in work on a project in Chengdu, he'll take no more China work until Ai is released. Thus far, Woods stands alone in his stance of refusing more contracts from China until Ai is freed.

"I here state publicly that I will not accept another project in China until Ai Weiwei is released unharmed from detention or imprisonment," he wrote next to a photo of Ai.
