A tense, three-day trucker's strike outside of Shanghai over inflation and high fuel prices has dissipated, according to several reports, after officials agreed to some concessions.

Reurters says port traffic is resuming, as the roads re-opened and truckers went back to work.The three-day strike, which disrupted traffic in one of the world's busiest ports erupted among independent drivers upset over fast-rising inflation. China's consumer inflation is rising at record rates, and the central government has repeatedly warned of the need to curb prices to maintain social order.
