A star-studded fundraiser to raise money for the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing is adding some big names to it's line up.

Boston bands Aerosmith and New Kids on the Block, Bostonian singer-songwriter James Taylor and country singer Jason Aldean will headline the May 30 benefit concert, organizers said on Friday.

Singers Jimmy Buffett and Carole King, the J. Geils Band and, of course, the band Boston are also lined up to perform at "Boston Strong: An Evening of Support and Celebration" concert promoters Live Nation and TD Garden said.

Donnie Wahlberg, a member of the Boston-based former boy band New Kids on the Block, told the Boston Globe that he and bandmate Joey McIntyre, who’d just finished the Marathon when the bombs exploded, immediately discussed playing a benefit concert.

“It just kind of rolled from there,” he said. Wahlberg was back in Boston for the first time since the bombing.

"Like so many other proud Bostonians who have been extremely generous, we are honored to step up and do our part to help the victims and their families," said Wahlberg.

Boston-born singer songwriter James Taylor said, "Everyone involved has responded from the heart in a spontaneous and simultaneous desire to be there and to do what we can for the city we love."

Net proceeds from the show will benefit The One Fund, which has so far raised more than $27 million for victims of the April 15 bombings that killed three people and injured more than 250.
