LOS ANGELES -- Actress Amanda Bynes was caught in another driving snafu this week after being photographed smoking what appeared to be a marijuana pipe and driving erratically through the streets of Los Angeles, reports TMZ.

Bynes, 26, reportedly was smoking out of a pipe disguised as a cigarette lighter behind the wheel of her BMW, reports the NY Daily News.

"The public should be afraid of her," A police officer told TMZ. "From looking at the photos, and what she's smoking, she has no sense of reality. If she's not stopped she's gonna kill someone," the officer said.

Another officer said, "she is going down a road that she cannot come back from when she injures or kills someone. The photos don't surprise me at all."

Bynes has had a string of traffic incidents over the past year that ended with her license being revoked on August 25.

She was arrested in April for driving under the influence after getting into a fender bender with a Los Angeles police officer.

E! online reports that Bynes has an arraignment date of Sept. 27 for two charges of hit and run, the April incident as well as one in early September. The charges each carry a maximum sentence of six months in jail and/or a $1,000 fine.

Even after her license was suspended, the actress was pulled over by police again this past weekend Los Angeles for reportedly driving without her headlights on, reports E! online.
