French actor Gerard Depardieu has released a pop song with daughter of Uzbek dictator Islam Karimov,  according to Jezebel.

Gulnara Karimova is the daughter of Uzbekistan's 74-year-old Communist leader, who has ruled the nation for decades.

Karimova released her debut album under her pop name "Googoosha" and her second single off the album is a duet with the French actor.

According to Jezebel, halfway into song, which she sings in Uzbek, Depardieu joins her in French seemingly apologizing "for all the things left unsaid."

The New York Times reported Karimova was described as “'something of a robber baron' and 'the single most hated person in the country,' in a 2005 American diplomatic cable released by WikiLeaks."

Meanwhile, Depardieu hasn't been winning many friends lately either.

His latest surprise comes after he shocked French authorities and fans by moving to Belgium to avoid taxes, and later announced he would become a Russian citizen.
