The Material Girl appears to be downsizing, putting one of her New York pads on the market for a cool $23.5million.
The apartment, in a building known as Haperley Hall, is on Manhattan's Upper West Side and overlooks Central Park, Real Estalker reported.
Despite the beautiful setting, the pop diva is rarely there, preferring to live in her luxury townhouse on the Upper East Side, which she bought three years ago for $32.5million. It boasts 13 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms.
According to the Daily Mail, the singer first bought an apartment in Haperley Hall in the 1980s while married to Sean Penn, and following their divorce she bought two more apartments and turned the three into a huge two-storey duplex.
She spent millions renovating it, and it was decorated in an Art Deco style by Madonna's younger brother and interior designer, Christopher Ciccone.
Spread over 5500 square feet on two floors, it has eight bathrooms, five wood-burning fireplaces, a library, an eat-in kitchen, as well as a formal dining room facing the park, the New York Daily News reported.
But the upkeep is not cheap, with the monthly maintenance said to be about $11,000 a month.
