Radiohead is postponing part of its European tour following Saturday's stage collapse in Toronto which killed the band's drum technician Scott Johnson.

The band released a statement Thursday explaining it s dealing with grief and shock from the accident, as well as, some logistics, CBS News reported.

The New York Times said the accident also destroyed the band’s sophisticated light show.

"This [light] show was unique and will take many weeks to replace,” the band said. “The collapse also caused serious damage to our backline, some elements of which are decades old and therefore hard to replace.”

According to the Toronto Star, an investigation is underway to determine what happened. The paper reports the main focus is on concert promoter Live Nation in addition to three other companies involved in the tour.

New dates for the postponed shows in Italy, Germany and Switzerland will be announced June 27.

Radiohead is slated to continue its tour July 10 in Nimes, France.
