It was unclear if it was the iPad 1 or 2.

Egypt's former agriculture minister, charged with seizing public funds, was found with an iPad while being held at one of the country's largest prisons, an Egyptian daily reports

The search of Amin Abaza was reportedly part of a new interior ministry intiative to "guarantee equality between inmates," the newspaper reported. It also said he may be denied visits as punishment for having obtained the iPad.

In October, when 24-year-old Essam Atta was found by prison guards to have smuggled in a cell-phone, guards inserted hoses into his mouth and anus and forced in water and soap, causing vomiting and bleeding, the Washington Post reports.
