A French fast food chain has revealed a Darth Vader themed burger as a promotion to coincide with the release of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace in 3D, the Daily Mail reported.

The Darth Vader burger is only one of three burgers the fast food chain Quick is offering. It's called the "Dark Vador Burger" and consists of two beef patties with cheese, lettuce and tomato, sandwiched between two buns that have been dyed jet black, the Huffington Post reported.

There's also a "Jedi Burger," which is served on a traditional white bread bun and includes a mystery white topping between the beef patties, and a Dark Burger, which looks like a burger bun with all the seasonings of an everything burger.

The burger is only available until March 1, 2012, and several Star Wars fans have pointed out that Episode I doesn't really have Darth Vader as a character. Instead, it features a prepubescent Anakin Skywalker.

This isn't Quick's first attempt at a bizarre promotional campaign. In February 2010, the chain decided to only serve halal meat in eight restaurants, which spurred criticisms from politicians who said its menu discriminated against non-Muslims.

And, in November 2010, the chain served the "Surpreme Foie Gras" a foie gras burger at a bargain price as a treat for customers ahead of Christmas.
