Footage from a camera attached to a penguin's head reveals new aspects of their lives, reported Reuters, information that may help scientists protect the species in the warming Arctic region. 

The material, captured two years ago but just published, provides scientists with critical information about the feeding and killing methods used by Adelie penguins in their native Antarctica, said Reuters

Yuuki Watanabe of Japan's National Institute of Polar Research told Reuters the footage shows that penguins have an "amazing stealth mode" and are "incredible hunters." 

The camera project is part of extensive penguin research hoped to help protect the species from the potentially destructive effects of climate change. Here's Reuters' video report on the project:
