A Tennessee McDonald's learned the hard way to never give extra onions on a burger.

Christopher Slate, 21, and Sean Mosey, 23 visited a Murfreesboro, Tennessee McDonald's. The pair both ordered burgers with absolutely no onions.

According to The Smoking Gun, once the pair drove out of the drive-thru they came to realize they not only received burgers with onions, but they actually received burgers with extra onions. Enough onions in fact to send them back to vandalize the McDonald's restaurant.

In a police interview Slate said that the duo was “upset with McDonald’s because their cheeseburgers had been messed up.” He then “advised that they went home and continued to drink beer and get worked up about the cheeseburgers.”

Slate told WTVF, "We were ticked. I mean, ticked is an understatement. We hung out and drank more and, everything went down. Our stupid plan got more stupid in a half second."

Slate and Mosey went back to the restaurant and threw bricks at the restaurant, Webpronews.com reported.

One brick thrown through the glass cut an employees arm and another piece of concrete that was hurled through the glass cut the manager's leg, according to a Murfreesboro Police Department report.

When police arrived at the scene Mosey attempted to run but he  tripped and was immediately caught. Slate was able to drive away, however the police later arrested him at home. Mosey required 60 stitches.

Slate told WTVF, "I am 110 percent dumbfounded, not only of what happened, but the fact that I let myself become a part of it. And I know that Sean (feels) it too."
