ESPN's popular sports journalist Erin Andrews is leaving the network. "It's been difficult," Andrews told USA Today. "I'll be honest, it's been bittersweet. There've been a lot of tears. ESPN has been my family for eight years. I've been a little sister there."

Andrews' contract at ESPN expired on Saturday. But she won't be out of a job. Instead, she'll move on to be a host for a Saturday prime time college football studio show on Fox, USA Today reported

In an interview on the Dan Patrick Show today, Andrews explained that while she'd miss ESPN, that there just weren't as many opportunities for her at the network. "The final straw was, you know, there a different mentality over there, but I think the biggest reason is I have a chance to work in the NFL, I have a chance to work baseball playoffs, I have a chance to do all these things that I wouldn't be able to do if I stayed at ESPN," she told Dan Patrick, according to the Orlando Sentinel
