News you wish you didn't know.

There are supporters. And then there are Ron Paul supporters. Click through this slideshow, and you'll see what we mean.

Paul supporters are fans -- super fans, really -- who do things like shave the name of their candidate into the back of their head. To them, it seems, Paul is not a candidate. He's a leader. A hero. A lifestyle.

The New York Times seems to agree. Covering the candidates' supporters in New Hampshire, The Times wrote:

By a big margin, the Paul Posse is the most devoted and passionate of any candidate crowd. They are less “supporters” than followers.

DISCUSSION: What's your take on Paul? Are you a supporter -- err, follower? If so, tell us what you admire or respect about him.
