Israeli media are reporting an Iranian threat on Israeli targets worldwide.

The semi-official Raja News is quoted in the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Acharonoth quoting an Iranian intelligence source saying that the Islamic Republic's retaliation over the assassination will “reach beyond Iran and beyond the region.”

Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is wrapping up a tour of South America, where, coincidentally, the last two major Iran-sponsored terror attacks took place.

In March, 1992, a Hezbollah bomb blew up the Israeli embassy in Buenos Aires. In July, 1994, a second blast blew up the building of AMIA, the Jewish community center in the Argentine Capital, killing almost 100 people.

Speaking at Havana University Thursday, Ahmadinejad complained that the West is “punishing Iran for no reason,” and asked “Have we ever attacked anyone? Have we sought more than we need? Never. We only want to pursue justice.”
