Need to know: Russian investigators said Saturday that terrorism was the most likely cause of Friday night's train crash in which at least 26 people were killed and nearly 100 injured when their luxury express from Moscow to St Petersburg derailed.

Where is Turkmenistan and why is it important? Well, it is wedged between Afghanistan and Iran, for starters. And it has lots of natural gas. Add in some eccentric rulers and it becomes very interesting indeed. Read all about it.

Want to know: What is going on in Burma? A new investigation shows that the military regime is perpetrating gross human rights abuses against ethnic minorities.

Dull but important: United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has urged world leaders to "seal a deal" on climate change when they meet in Copenhagen in December. He said he believed an agreement was in sight, with recent moves by some countries a positive step to cutting emissions.

Just because: We like comics. And the hottest comic books these days are the Korean manwha. They're even hipper than Japan's manga comics. Read the fascinating history of the manwha.

Wacky: Bulgarian villagers have named their home-made rakia brandy "Borisovka," to honor Prime Minister Boiko Borisov for stopping parliament from raising taxes on alcohol. Borisov stopped the tax, saying it would threaten Bulgaria's centuries-old tradition of making wine and rakia at home.
