Russian wants to see a sex shop in the White House

A Russian Duma deputy has lashed out at U.S. undersecretary of state Philip Gordon, for reiterating U.S. support for ex-Soviet Georgia’s territorial integrity on a recent trip to Tbilisi.

Sergei Abeltsev, a member of the nationalist LDPR party, erupts into colorful language — full of sex references and harsh Russian curse words — to show his displeasure with the U.S. diplomat.

Here’s a rough translation of what he says. Quick Russian lesson: “Gondon” means “condom.” And apologies for the language, but it’s not mine! Just doing my job:

"I would recommend this deputy chief, this deputy head of the U.S. administration, shorten his name to simply Gondon ('Condom'). And, you know, open a sex shop there, in the White House, where he can sell [word deleted] dildos and not just talk crap. The president should take this adviser, Gordon or Gondon, and help his wife plant carrots and cucumbers in the vegetable patches near the White House.”

Obama is due to visit Moscow the first week in July. Let the theatrics begin. The Russian Duma, the lower house of parliament, may not be good for a lot of things, but it’s certainly good for that.
