Russian flights leave much to be desired on the dinner ticket

Taking a domestic flight in Russia is always an interesting experience. It allows you to experience so many emotions — fear, irritation, terror, discomfort.

Then there's the food. A friend sent along the below photos with the following note (the italics are mine): "These two snaps were taken on a recent flight from Moscow to Vladivostok for which the tickets cost over $1,000 one-way. Dinner was an interesting experiment with colour. And if that didn't fill us up enough, a mere seven entertainment-less hours later, along came a hearty breakfast! Yum yum!!!"

With Russia's flight safety record, could you imagine if this were your last meal?
