More than three hours after Obama officially became the 44th U.S. president, the crowd is getting down at the House of Nsako, a music club in central Johannesburg where a local band is delivering a string of Bob Marley classics. The inauguration ceremony was broadcast here earlier, but save for a handful of Obama T-shirts there is no sign of the historical event taking place thousands of miles away.
That is, until the band’s lead singer decides to do his own take on the old Mexican song, "la Bamba," revamping the refrain to “Obaaama, Obama. Obaaama, Obama.”
