Is Bangkok set to return to normal?

That's the word from GlobalPost's Thailand correspondent Patrick Winn, on news that Red Shirt protesters have cautiously welcomed the government's offer to hold early elections on Nov. 14.

In exchange, the protesters have agreed to take down their encampments set up in the Thai capital.
