The United States women’s soccer team made it to the finals of the FIFA Women’s World Cup with a stunning 3-1 victory over France Wednesday.
The U.S.’s three goals — scored by Laura Cheney, Abby Wambach and Alex Morgan — secured the American team a place in the final. This will be the first time the U.S. will have played in the final since 1999.
The U.S. will play either Sweden or Japan on Sunday in Frankfurt.
