Mike Wallace, who died Apr. 7, was a fixture in American broadcast journalism for over 35 years. His is a story of interviews with doctors, dictators, generals and artists. He became famous for his willingness to ask the tough questions and be controversial time and again.
Wallace was part of the original line up of reporters on Don Hewitt's "60 Minutes." During his time at "60 Minutes," he worked with fellow CBS correspondents Harry Reasoner, Andy Rooney, Ed Bradley, Morley Safer, Dan Rather, and Diane Sawyer, among many others.
