Naeem Khan designer
Naeem Khan is not the newest designer on the fashion scene, but he is one of its strongest international stars. Khan was born in India and lists the handwork produced in Indian workshops as one of his biggest fashion inspirations.
Look for his designs on the likes of Beyonce, Eva Longoria, or even the first Lady, Michelle Obama, who is a big fan of the designer.

After finishing college in the US, Noor Rashid Al Khalifa and he cousin, Haya Mohammed Al Khalifa, returned to their birthplace of Bahrain to develop a line that reflected their home country's idea of fashion.
The ultra feminine brand says its vision is to bring elegant, exotic creations that are designed to flatter the modern woman while taking inspiration from timeless styles.

Parkchoonmoo
Choonmoo Park was born in Kimje, a small town in the southern part of Korea. A a child, she says she was inspired by the transformative nature of fabric, a transformation she got to see first hand in her father's textile factory.
She launched her label DEMOO in 1988, and is now receiving international acclaim including being voted one of the most influential designers of 2010.

Angel Sanchez didn't start out as a clothing designer. The Venezuelan-born designer studied and practiced architecture long before moving his design skills to fabric.
Sanchez's perfectly crafted evening gowns reflect his true understanding of how to construct for the international female body. His fans include Taylor Swift, Salma Hayek, Giselle Bundchen and many more.

Katyaleonovish
If we had to choose only one designer to watch out for at this year's NYFW, Katya Leonovich would be it. This week will mark Leonovich's second ever showing in New York.
Born in Moscow, Leonovich is known for her grunge-chic designs. She lists her major inspiration as, "The New York woman."
