Lifeboats were dispatched to search for any more casualties who might have fallen in the Thames. None were found.

The wreckage continued to burn on the ground, setting light to at least one car. Several people were taken to hospital, including at one with critical injuries.
Firefighters said the flames were under control by early afternoon.
