Dutch party for animals bans slaughter opt

The Dutch Party for the Animals leader Marianne Thieme gained two seats in parliament on November 22, 2006. The party has now proposed a bill to ban the slaughter of livestock without stunning, or anesthetizing, outraging Jews and Muslims in Netherlands.
