Images of people who disappeared during the military dictatorship in Argentina (1976-83) hung in Plaza de Mayo in Buenos Aires in 2007. The mothers, now in their 70s, 80s — a few even in their 90s — said they have no plans to end their weekly vigil, even though the dictatorship that carried out the kidnappings, murders and other atrocities that prompted their protest faded away nearly a quarter-century ago.
