Holidaying British couple David and Judith Tebbutt were attacked there on Sept. 11, 2011, by suspected Somalia based Al-Shabab militia, ending in the fatal shooting of David. Judith Tebbutt was held in Somalia for six months, before being released and flown to Nairobi on March 21, 2012.
