U.S. economy boosted by 163,000 more jobs, but unemployment rises slightly, new report

There were more jobs created in the U.S. in July, but the unemployment rate rose slightly to 8.3 percent.

U.S. President Barack Obama noted that the jobs report means the economy has created 4.5 million new jobs in the last 29 months, and 1.1 million this year.
