The mayor elect of a town in San Luis Potosi state in central Mexico has been shot dead along with his campaign adviser.

Missing Mexico activist found alive

Aleph Jimenez Dominguez, an activist with Mexico’s student movement who had been reported missing last week, was found alive in a neighboring state.
