Empire state shooting

A New York Police officer directs pedestrians gathered near a crime scene outside the Empire State Building on August 24, 2012 in New York City. Police said 58-year-old Jeffrey Johnson shot and killed a 41-year-old former coworker during an altercation. A number of bystanders were also shot during the ensuing melee. Police were reported to have shot and killed the gunman.
