Franco Pagetti has been photographing Iraq for a decade. His work is on display at an exhibition in New York City called "Flashback, Iraq," opening March 19. This essay is a selection of his work from the exhibition. These individual portraits show the faces of both Shia and Sunni Muslims, trapped in the middle of a bloody civil war.
