Salih Jeiad Taheer, Shia, stands for a portrait in the Shaab district of Baghdad, Iraq on Feb 12, 2007. Taheer does not want to move away from his home, which neighbors the Sunni stronghold of al Doura. He knows that once he leaves, another family will get his house and he will lose everything. His Sunni wife, however, lives in a Sunni neighborhood with their daughter, unable to live in a Shia neighborhood where Madhi Army death squads are in control.
