Has the media overreacted to Obama's 'scandal' trifecta?

President Obama has been on the defensive on three different fronts this week. Republicans accused the State Department of omitting details about the Sept. 11, 2012 attack in Benghazi for political ends. Meanwhile, an investigation revealed that the IRS had been targeting conservative groups for increased scrutiny in their applications for tax-exempt status. And the AP protested the Justice Department seizure of two months' worth of their journalists' phone records.

These 'scandals' have spurred outrage in the press and public, with some comparing Obama's actions to President Nixon's Watergate scandal. Has the press reacted fairly, or gone too far?
