Former CIA technical assistant Edward Snowden has stepped forward to claim responsibility for leaking to The Guardian the details of the National Security Agency's surveillance of millions of Americans' phone and Internet data. Snowden works for management and technology consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton, whose main client is the US government. A statement by the firm distanced it from its employee and condemned his actions. Since the leak, Snowden has fled to Hong Kong looking to avoid prosecution. Is he a hero worthy of praise or a traitor worthy of punishment?
