Brazil makes Olympic soccer finals for the first time in 24 years

For the first time in 24 years, Brazil will be playing for Olympic soccer gold, going up against Mexico in Saturday's final match.

The US women's soccer team vanquished Canada in dramatic fashion, winning the 4-3 shoot out and advancing to the gold medal round.

The US's Alex Morgan, who had not scored since the opening match against France, earned the spotlight with a towering header in the final minutes of the game. 

"It was a crazy battle," Morgan said after the match, according to ABC News
