Ye Shiwen not doped, British Olympic Association says

China's record-breaking swimming star Ye Shiwen has tested clean for illegal drugs, Olympic officials say.

Ye Shiwen, China's 16-year-old swimming champion, really is that fast, Olympics officials say.

The gold medallist and world record holder has passed all the tests for performance-enhancing drugs, the chairman of the British Olympic Association said today.

Hijab allowed at London Olympics

The 16-year-old athlete had signed an agreement with Saudi Olympic officials that she can compete only if she wears "correct and approved" clothing that "sticks to Islamic principles."

UK police have arrested a man over malicious Twitter postings directed at British Olympic diver Tom Daley, whose father died of brain cancer a year ago.

After Daley finished fourth on Monday, out of medal contention at the London 2012 Olympics, a Twitter user sent him several negative messages.

Daley retweeted one of them that said: "You let your dad down, I hope you know that," according to ESPN.
