Mario Alessi, a witness who is serving a life sentence for the kidnap-murder of an Italian toddler taken from his home, said that another defendant in the murder case who was found guilty in separate proceedings spoke to him about Amanda Knox's innocence in November 2009 during recreation time at the Viterbo prison.
