HONG KONG — With all signs pointing south for the Chinese economy, Beijing appears to think another stimulus can turn things around. But experts wonder, is anothert jolt really what China needs? This year has produced a parade of unusually iffy economic data out of China. GDP growth dropped. Electricity output shrank. Bank lending slowed. Retail luxury sales slumped. Some economists question whether China's economy can really work on its own.
